Psychology Services
In all my psychology sessions I aim to create a safe and welcoming space,
free of judgement. I blend evidence based strategies, with my lived experience, in a collaborative approach to meet your needs from a neuroaffirming lens.
Although I have training in many therapeutic frameworks, I am highly skilled in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). DBT is a skills based form of therapy, which is validating and practical in application. I am also familiar with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) frameworks. Sessions are client led and will focus on what matters most to you, at your pace. I accept private payment, Mental Health Treatment Plans, and self-managed NDIS funding.
PURPOSE - To work on your goals in a collaborative way through individual psychology sessions.
For adults (18+) I offer autism and ADHD assessments. Have you always felt different but never understood why? My comprehensive assessments are designed to help people understand themselves and their needs to better live a life aligned with how their brain works naturally. This promotes stronger well-being, authenticity, and can put past experiences into context.
PURPOSE - answer the question if an adult meets the diagnostic criteria for autism and/or ADHD.
For young people (8+) I offer autism, ADHD, and cognitive assessments. These comprehensive assessments can help caregivers and schools have an appreciation for what is going on for young people below the surface. I like to think of this as providing a map or a compass for a child, so they can access targeted supports.
PURPOSE - To provide a snapshot of cognitive performance and/or answer the question if the young person meets the diagnostic criteria autism and/or ADHD.
May also be used to rule in/out giftedness or intellectual disability.
